Taking Charge of Change® Workshop
is a half-day experientially based workshop for up to 50 participants.
Ideally, an organization can reach 100 of its employees in one day –
and begin to create ownership for its change effort.
Workshop Description
The
workshop is experientially-based and assures full participation of the
participants. Using white water as a metaphor, participants engage in
exercises designed to help them understand and deal with their own
feelings and behaviors at each stage of the change process. Emphasis is
for individuals to take personal accountability, i.e., take charge of
themselves, to ensure the successful implementation of the
organization’s change efforts.
Outcomes
• Understand the four Stages of Change® and how to
take charge effectively of oneself through each stage;
• Recognize and appreciate the behaviors and feelings
that occur when changes are taking place;
• Face change in the workplace with confidence and the
abilities to be a more positive participant through the
change process;
• Create personal action plans;
• Build and/or increase one’s support network in taking
charge of change.
